The labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP) rooms are fully equipped to allow an uninterrupted birthing experience. Our medical staff provides fetal non-stress testing, induction and augmentation of labor, epidural, and intrathecal options for labor, external and internal fetal heart monitoring, intrauterine pressure monitoring, vaginal delivery, and cesarean. The rooms are residentially styled with accommodations for the mother, father, and/or significant other to share in the birthing experience. The birthing beds allow the mother to deliver in the LDRP room. The baby will be able to room-in with the mother during the hospital stay, as the mother chooses. Memorial Medical Center practices family-centered obstetrics, encouraging the father to participate during labor and delivery. Siblings and grandparents of the baby may visit and hold the baby. We strongly discourage visitations by anyone who was recently exposed to communicable diseases (chicken pox, measles, flu, colds, etc.).
Periodically, we offer prenatal classes to the community. prenatal_classes-2013.pdf
Memorial Medical Center is pleased to offer a trained lactation consultant on staff to provide the best training possible for those moms who choose to breastfeed their new little one.

We encourage birthing parents to tour our nursery, tour our LDRP rooms, meet Lori Gregorich, RN, and enroll in Childbirth Preparation Class.
Memorial Medical Center’s OB/Med/Surg is proud to share photographs and information on the following newborns. All information is published with permission from the parent(s).
