Physical Therapy

Physical therapy assists patients in achieving the highest possible level of physical function. The physical therapist is responsible for evaluating the patient, establishing goals for treatment, implementing a care plan, and providing staff/family consultation and instruction. Physical therapy services may include muscle strengthening and re-education, mobility training, ambulation training, modality treatments (such as ultrasound), developmental interventions, and the use of splints, supports, or braces.
