Open House at Loyal Center
Memorial Medical Center hosts an Open House at the Loyal Center for area employers.
Memorial Medical Center hosted an open house for area employers at its Loyal location on Wednesday, August 31st. Representatives from Grassland Dairy, Abbyland Meats and Clark County Economic Development were some of the attendees. Occupational and Physical Therapy staff demonstrated the BTE lift test equipment. This equipment is a valuable tool for employers who wish to determine that the employee is physically able to perform the job functions they are being hired for. Financial support for the audiogram soundproof booth and supporting software was provided by the MMC Auxiliary. Complimentary audiograms were provided to those who wanted one.
Many companies are required by OSHA to do baseline and annual audiograms. Memorial Medical Center has transitioned its Loyal location into a center that accommodates Physical and Occupational Therapy and phlebotomy in addition to employment services including urine drug screen collections, audiograms and BTE lift testing. Both the Loyal and Neillsville locations offer the BTE Lift test and Audiogram services.
“By using our centrally located Loyal Center, the employers of Clark County have an affordable and efficient pre-employment service that has the latest technology in pre-employment lift testing and rehabilitation” stated Ryan Neville, CEO at MMC.
Information for employers can be provided by the Occupational Health Dept at 715-743-8447. For Physical or Occupational Therapy questions, please contact 715.255.8004.
