Auxiliary & Thrift Shop
Shop the MMC Auxiliary Thrift Shop, Neillsville’s treasure chest located in a two story white house on the corner of Clay and 6th Streets behind the IGA.
Store hours are Fridays 8:30 – 5:00 and Saturdays 8:30 – noon.
Clothing is priced to sell quickly starting at only 25 cents. The store offers a large variety of items at low prices. You never know what treasure you will find, so shop weekly and get hooked on being thrifty.
Run by volunteers, all proceeds from sales are invested in MMC via donations of equipment or other needed items. Most recently, the thrift shop purchased the lobby and reception area furniture which was selected by MMC. These large purchases are made possible by the sale of items received at the thrift shop.
Donations may be dropped off inside the front porch between the hours of 7am and 8pm daily. After 8pm the porch will be closed. Please call the thrift shop at 715.743.2623 if you plan to bring a large amount of items to make sure that someone is there. If possible avoid bringing donations on Friday since it is a busy sales day. Please, we accept only clean, saleable items in good condition.
Officers are President Marcia Gross, Vice President Karen Kennedy, Secretary Shirley Anderson, and Treasurer Carol Schaub.
If interested in serving MMC and the community by volunteering at the thrift shop, please stop by and pick up a volunteer form. Help is always needed and appreciated.
MESSAGE FROM THE AUXILIARY:
Neillsville and the surrounding area has been generous with their donations of household items and clothing allowing us to keep the store full of bargains for community shoppers, crafters, and treasure hunters.
The store is run by volunteers and requires that work be done daily to keep up with the large volume of donations.
You can help by donating only clean, useable items and disposing of heavily worn, broken, and soiled things before dropping them off.
In addition to proudly serving MMC, the Auxiliary Thrift Shop provides the community with a much needed and appreciated alternative shoppin experience.
In the past ten years the Auxiliary Thrift Shop has contributed over $185.00.00 in purchases for MMC. That truley is phenomenal!
